Responsibilities:

Responsible for financial strategy, budgeting & planning process. Conduct strategic industry research, financial modeling; prepare investment, revenue and cost analyses etc. Specific job duties include, but are not limited to the following:

1. Financial Management: Assist CEO to conduct company's multiple year financial strategy, planning & analysis, as well as capital raising plan, including future subscription-based revenue forecast, provide comprehensive data driven analysis, conduct financial analysis & arrange cost categories; Manage financial models for accounting objectives, enforce proper accounting methods, policy & principles, and coordinate tax, external audit as applicable. Prepare quarterly & year-end financial reporting process, account reconciliation, review purchase orders. Post capital raising, supervise & train new team members to support budgeting and forecasting processes, revenue and cost analysis, expense variance analysis. Conduct other projects assigned by CEO, including consulting projects for customers, in the fields of sector research & corporate revenue and cost analysis. Conduct industry analysis. Identify key industry trends, opportunities & challenges for particular sectors. Compare key market players’ business strategies, perform company financial models for profitability forecast.

2. Capital Raising: Assist CEO with capital raising process for Visdom. Identify & analyze trends in the industry, capital market & recommend investor pitch strategies & opportunities. Conduct investment analysis & cashflow analysis, company valuation to justify Visdom’s intrinsic value & fundraising sizes. Identify potential investors & develop proper points of access. Participate in capital raising from diverse types of institutions, including institutional investment firms, financial investors, large family offices, high net worth individuals, etc. Coordinate meetings & disseminate information to investors & prospective investors. Understand investment-related risks & identify methods to mitigate those risks; analyze deal structure, negotiate terms & close capital raising deals.

3. Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) as a product: Assist CEO & support Visdom's financial products and solutions, resulting in actionable roadmaps through deep understanding of financial statements, cash flow statements, corporate revenue/cost analysis, target cascade models & OPEX management to define clear requirements. Collaborate with R&D team to design robust forecasting processes & analytic solutions to meet complex needs of generating financial modeling products. Translate customers’ finance & business needs into clear & actionable product requirements with technical specifications. Work closely with R&D team to understand, define key business use cases, provide product & feature feedback, and create data-driven insights. Conduct financial analysis for supported customers/sales leads including project management, communications, support orchestration, executive status updates, business partner relationship management; drive evangelization & education efforts for Visdom products. Lead Digital Transformation discussions with clients through virtual engagements, including showcasing for clients; ensure all client-facing reports, analysis & solutions follow a consistent approach & follow agreed upon standards.

Requirements:

At least a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Management, Economics, or a related discipline, plus minimum Three (3) years of post-baccalaureate experience working as Financial Director; Financial Manager; Financial and Investment Analyst; or closely related positions. Foreign degree equivalent is acceptable. We will also accept any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience. Experience should include minimum two (2) years’ experience working on financial modeling; corporate revenue/cost analysis; investment analysis and cashflow analysis; forecasting process; capital raising; company valuation; financial strategy, planning and analysis.

SALARY: $163,000.00/ per year                           HOURS: M-F, 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Approximately 20% international travel is needed for following purposes: (1) attending industry conferences; (2) on-site customer evangelization & education efforts; (3) sector research & field visits; (4) Capital raising activities. International travel could refer to traveling to Asia & EU, such as Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, UK, Germany, Sweden, etc.
